Names, Abridged .hectate 08/5/2006 - 21:59 EST Size matters a lot to the people in Marketing. Time is money, and the modern world doesn't want to have to read titles like The Epic Chronicles of Great Dread Cthulhu's Betrayal and Revenge - Part VI: Lord of the Deep Risen Again and Forever to the Roaming and Ravening of Earth and Beyond - The Video Game.. So instead, we have to deal with titles like Black, F.E.A.R., Haze, Hollow, Hybrid and X10. Unfortunately, this causes a few problems. If you try, you find that all those games I just mentioned are a little difficult to find on Google. Their names are just single, commonly-used words. Even when I coupled the name with words like "FPS" and "game" or even the developer's name it was difficult to find. The real issue, interestingly, was that when I searched for X10, Google ignored it as being unimportant to the search. Kinda makes you wonder if it's worth it or not, eh?
